I recently had a vehicle towed by a predatory towing company when I pulled down a street next to an apartment complex called The yards off Naito Parkway in the downtown Portland area. I was moving from a shelter to a new apartment, and was borrowing some packing tape from a friend. I parked along a fence line beside the street where many other cars were lined parked and ran up stairs to get the packing tape ,was back down within ten min and my car was gone. I have pictures, there were no property towing signs at all, my car was full of my belongings. this was an illegal tow. I want my car back. Resolution Sought I want my car returned. the law states proper notice of towing intent, must be posted within 3 parking spaces of said vehicle and there are none, plus it was beside the road, not in a parking spot. my medications ECT are also in my car.
