24 Hour Fitness complaints

The staff take away spaces in the gym that we actually pay for and I have proof and pictures of it. The staff does nothing when you can make complaints about harassment within the confines of the facilities. If you identify as lgbtq the staff has made it harder and put those folks in a position where they may have to go into areas where they're extremely uncomfortable and others people might be uncomfortable with them because the staff decided to compensate portions of the gym that are for these specific purposes like the unisex restroom and other areas in the gym including lockers. The staff also let the materials in the gym deteriorate without any attempts to repair them and these are things that are being paid for by the membership so they should be repaired and fairly swiftly but the staff members don't they just allow me to go broken and keep taking money from you even though you're not getting what you paid for at 24 Hour Fitness in Tacoma WA Resolution Sought There should be pressure put on this organization to do what they're paid for. They're basically stealing money from the membership. We pay for the use of this gym so they're stealing from us cuz we're not getting what we paid for. I'm a black man and I believe strongly that if I were a person who were white and I went to them and explained my issues that they would do something about it I think the fact that I'm a man and that 'm black is why they refuse to take me serious .

I paid $400 for a membership right before the mask mandate due to coronavirus I was not really able to go to the gym as much as I would've liked to because I was managing a business deciding on the vaccination and also having injections because of a back injury. I tried to freeze my membership but it was too late because I had just learned of that option. My membership is now over but I never even began it. The manager just wants me to pay more money for another membership. I was told by the manager that was my option and I don't think that's ethical. We were all going through something and I took money out of my pocket and pay for membership in the middle of a pandemic. I also started a business and do to the pandemic I lost all of my money invested. At the same time. I just need somebody to please hear me out and help me please I don't want to get back into shape I do want my membership I do love that gym. I just don't like losing money. Resolution Sought My desired outcome would be to renew my membership without paying anything because there was a state of emergency pandemic going on plus a mask mandate and a rule for vaccination. If I can't have my membership Back or if not I would like my money back. I would rate this company five stars but I'm only reading it to because of customer service and that's the most important part of a business.
