Worst customer service ever. I hired Keith to remodel our new home on the lake. A home I worked very hard to be able to purchase. The quote was over $40,000 with a $16,000 deposit. I was under the impression the contractors were his employees, instead he sub-contracted to other guys. One of which then sub contracted to a guy who stole over $800 from me when making supposed purchases for my home at Home Depot. He purchased himself a whole set of new tools and hardware, as well as materials for a side job he was doing. He stole my boyfriends outdoor lamp too. As of that was not enough, I paid for 2 large pantries to be built $2800 which were never built. The patio was not complete. Initially that guy who stole from us built a privacy wall did not bolt safely & could have led to one to fall two floors down. The ceiling outside supposed to be tongue and groove, instead put up panels are now warping. The kitchen cabinets were never sanded down, instead painted over original stain is now chipping. The patio was supposed to be stained after the curing period, that was never done. The interior was supposed to be painted, did one coat so areas where the other colors can be seen. Job was never completed used my deposit for another job. Keith used my deposit for another job. Said he would pay me back, and it is now 2 years almost and nothing. He will not return my calls either. Resolution Sought The project manager George Grimes confided that there are multiple clients in the same situation as me. He has since left the company. Keith Kelchner should not be operating a business. At first, I just wanted my deposit and the stolen money returned to me. Now, I want all of it back. As each day goes by, I notice more and more how badly the things that were completed were done.
