The salesman sold me a car that the engine blew up within a day and a half of purchasing it. He told me he would come and get me and the car and find something else for me to drive and when he arrive at the location where i broke down, he told me he couldn't take me with him because it would upset his wife, he wouldn't return my money, and left me stranded 3 hours from home at a truck stop and then told me that if i want something else to drive, I need to give him another $1000. I had gone to look at another car that he had listed and when got there was told that car had been sold . I waited for my ride to show up and after I left there he called me to tell me to come back because he wanted to help and he was going to work with me on this deal. I have not benefitted from his help at all. He took my money and now has the car and i have nothing. He plays phone games with me telling me he sent money to me via cash app which is a complete lie. He is very unethical. The car had 235,000 miles on it. it was a 2008 Toyota matrix and he waited to tell me until i signed the paperwork to inform me he was actually expecting me to pay $3000 for it. He didn't let me test drive it. I was trying to be gracious and was touched that someone could be so kind. He took every penny of $1400 I had plus 2 gift cards totaling $100 which is what i believed at the time was all he wanted. He wasnt being helpful. He was greedy and still wont return my money . Resolution Sought I want my money back. $1500. "as is" when you knowingly sell something that has issues to begin with is totally unethical and should be illegal. If i had chosen the car and after test driving it still decided to purchase the car then i wouldn't expect a refund. In this case, I needed help and was thankful that they would help. How is it helpful to sell me a car that lasted a day and a half and then becomes complete junk. I could have rented a car for less money and drove it longer.
