Asked to change a liner in my ice rink. Was told I must pay up front ($350) but they couldn't do it right away in that they were busy but would try if I paid up front which i did. He said if they couldn't get to it he would refund my money. When they finally came after 2-3 weeks owner said rink was not in the right condition to work on. I did not know it had to be in perfect shape for them to complete the work. I said that was fine just give me my money back less $50 for bringing the liner. He refused & wanted to give me a credit instead. I couldn't use a credit for $300. I did NOT sign any contract. He got upset & rescinded his offer so I'm out the $300 (he took $350 for doing nothing but delivery). Resolution Sought Refund of $ 300 (less the $50 for delivery).

Company states; We offered 2 opportunities for this client to finalize this complaint, but the client refused and became very difficult for us to continue the discussion. We were trying to mitigate potential issues and attempted to resolve this situation. The client had deceived us in saying that his rink was ready for our liner, but in fact, it was not and the rink was left out year round where the elements caused issue with the accumulation of debris, sticks, ice etc. / this was presented to us as already done and it wasn't which makes the job very different than what was presented to us.
