I had a hot water tank from AO Amith, still under warranty & it exploded & leaked all over in the garage. This happened during a heat index/emergency & needed a company ASAP. The unit was replaced the next day, on a Sunday. Through the panic, didn't realize the 1st tank is still under warranty until 8/22. I have been in contact with AO Smith & after I HAVE BEEN following up, they were going to give a small amount for a refund. They stated, I need a data sticker off of the tank. Not knowing this, the tank no longer exists. I told them, this is unacceptable. I have the original receipt & the replacement receipt. Can't believe how unprofessional this company has been. especially since I had to call & email for follow up. Resolution Sought Refund
