My unit purchased from A#1Air had to have repairs I contacted the company but because they came into the Houston market and abruptly left and left customers holding the bag. They have been sending Houston customers to other companies to repair our units. I called A#1 about my unit not working. I was told to contact a company in Houston. I was told the only thing that wouldn't be reimbursed is Freon, clogged line and cleaning the unit. I contacted the other company which came out and repaired my unit. The reimbursement amount would be up to $1000.00 I paid out of pocket for the repairs $1100.00+. When I submitted the bill for reimbursement A#1 Air told me that a $444.00 wouldn't be paid because it was an original part, however the part is a part needed for my unit. In the email sent to me it didn't not state anything other that the 3 items wouldn't be covered. I have spoke to A#1 Air many times by phone and email. I spent good money with this company and now to have to again spend more money repairing a unit that's under warranty that is supposed to cover such. This company is a rip off and should not be allowed to continue to take advantage of customers. Resolution Sought Refund the monies I paid for the repairs $1113.00 on my unit and honor the warranty as in the sales agreement. And reframe from the poor customer service practices.
