Consumer alleges: Per our conversation with Amanda at the company picnic, this dental office is supposedly contracted with the Operating Engineers Local 12 union .We went to their office, and Amanda told us we could get a bone graph done. She quoted $500 and I told her I couldn't pay that amount. She then agreed to provide the bone graph for $300 total and I was approved to pay $40 down and the remainder in installment payments. There was no monthly installment amount determined. I went in the office again and paid another $150.00 cash. They then removed my husband's tooth. Amanda is not agreeing to her verbal agreement of the total cost for the bone graph. So, we never went back. Why wasn't this procedure and quote put in writing? And, she is billing the insurance company for procedures that were never completed. I was told the Union Board is going to have a meeting to discuss this issue. Resolution Sought Remove the unecessary charges. And, accept my final payment of $10.00.

There must be some confusion. I was never at a picnic. Original price $397 pt paid $150 day one, then came in with cash $140. We have written balance off in full. Balance was from his fills, which waive for union members. I did get a call about statement so adjustment wasn't done. Until we got this letter. Patient balace is zero.

Yes, the person was not there but there was a representative there. Our copay/our deductible is $25.00, no more no less. Operating Engineers doesn't give out forms. You will need to talk to the Engineers loca 12 at 866-400-5200, Health and Welfare office. Were requesting our money back. This company charged me for bone graph.
