Business Name: Able Plumbing?Issue Type: Professional Conduct / Property Concern Complaint Description: On the date of the incident, a hose was placed from a unit being serviced by the above-named business into my privately maintained front yard, discharging plumbing water. I informed the worker on site that I did not consent to any water being drained into my yard due to sanitation concerns and the presence of my small dog. I contacted the business office to report the issue. I was informed the owner would follow up, after which the call ended. The owner later arrived at my residence to discuss the matter. During this interaction, he stated that draining water into my yard was comparable to rainfall and told me to "get a life." He also referred to his employees as "kids," later correcting the term to "young men." A neighboring resident witnessed part of this interaction and was addressed in a similar dismissive manner. The hose was removed and redirected elsewhere. However, I am submitting this complaint due to the manner in which my concern regarding my property was addressed. I did not hire this company and am not disputing the quality of their plumbing work. This complaint is solely regarding professional conduct, communication, and respect for private property. Resolution Sought I am requesting a written apology from the owner acknowledging the inappropriate language and unprofessional conduct, along with written assurance that future interactions involving private property and non-customers will be handled respectfully and professionally.
