Purchase a vehicle that could not pass inspection for safety issues. The vehicle is a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix for $5995.00. I felt that this car dealer was price gouging. I asked for a refund from the result of inspection failing for Safety issues. Marc Collins told me I was not getting my money back and that I could forget about it. Marc said he had rights to fix the car and make it right. He took the car back to the shop that failed it for safety reason and got a sticker but I still had the problem. This car has loud popping noise in the front end of car when turning the left and right. Other mechanics looked at vehicle. I was cheated out of a real test drive because there was not gas in the vehicle. Marc Collins has deceptive practices. I am over 60 with visible disability. I paid $6,629.06 for nothing. I let him attempt to fix this vehicle twice with no changes in the issues at hand. There was not a tear in the dash board when we put the car in the first time but there was one when we took the car home from the so called car repair. I just want my money back in which it states on the back of the limited warranty I have if it failed safety. This man tried to make me feel like a fool because I am an older black woman. I brought this vehicle in good faith and that is a lot of money to pay for used vehicle there are no regulations to go by for how much money can be charged in excess of vehicles original price or value due to Covid. Resolution Sought I want them to take there vehicle back as requested twice. I feel like I was financially raped by this company, even though, the news reports it cost more for used cars now . These dealers are taking advantage of good people in the worst way. The fact is even though this vehicle has an inspection sticker on it I do not feel safe in driving it with all the loud popping noise when turning left and right. I never drove a vehicle like this before in my life. The owner of Absolute says this is fine.

Company Response

Please let Ms. Brooks know that I will not even acknowledge or respond to this complaint until she RETRACTS AND APOLOGIZES, for the statement, "This man tried to make me feel like a fool because I am an older black women." That is absolutely absurd, emphatically not true and insulting both personally and professionally. She can send the apology to me at this email, absolutedlr@comcast.net and you can resend the new complaint with that statement retracted to this same email.
