I moved into a new apartment located at Canvas Townhomes in Allendale, MI located at 10295 48th Ave. The property instructed me to park my US DOT work truck on the property while issues with Absolute Security parking fees were being resolved. They tried to charge me a late fee due to the automated system requiring the payment at an earlier date, but I was subleasing, so the late fee would not apply. The property stated to me that they contacted Absolute Security regarding the matter and to not issue a fine to the vehicle. Absolute Security then proceeded to issue a boot wheel lock device to my truck. I contacted the property who told me to contact Absolute Security. Absolute Security proceeded to state the policy of the property and that my case was irrelevant, when I was instructed otherwise by the property. I have contacted Ottawa County regarding the matter who told me they were unable to assist. I would like to issue a major complaint regarding the professionalism of Canvas Townhomes, my apartment, along with Absolute Security. I would like to receive immediate resolve to this matter, as this work truck is how I get to and from my place of work. I need the truck. Resolution Sought I would like for Absolute Security to remove the boot at no cost to me and compensate for any lost time during my workday.

I live in Trio apartments and absolute security is the company that ensures the cars parked in the parking lot are supposed to be parked there by looking at parking passes. My friend was parked there until midnight with a parking pass on the dash of her car. Absolute booted her. We tried to dispute the boot cost but Absolute said we had to pay before they could remove the boot. We paid for the boot and then have been trying to dispute it. Absolute states the pass must be hung on the mirror of the car to be valid, but according to the lease of trio townhomes it states it must be in the car but does not state where. Additionally, the pass does not fit on my friends mirror, so we would not have been able to put it there anyways. Absolute has not been cooperative throughout this entire process and has not provided their policies or the pictures they took of the pass when asked. Resolution Sought Refund for the boot of the 60 dollar cost
