To start with while we were there to sign the contract they did not tell us once that we could opt in or out for certain things. The service rep just told us to read it and sign. By the time we made our first payment we come to realize they opted us in for two of their programs that we had no idea about. We were doing the math as far as paying off our furniture and if we don't do their program of paying it off early they are going to charge 100 interest on the couch. They have the worst communication to their customers. Resolution Sought To be given the correct information and not let this happen to anyone else. They have been taking advantage of everyone who goes through them!

No one has called my husband or I, this matter is not settled or closed! AcceptanceNow should be shut down for stealing so much money from people who are just trying to work on their credit! Not to mention how rude the employees are! If your employees do not understand how to breakdown a contract then they shouldn't be employed.

Mr. Clakley's account was closed in the month of April 2024 and a refund was initiated. We have no further obligations as it was Mr. Clakley's responsibility to read his provided agreement. As such, we consider this matter closed.

I purchased a pieces of furniture from value city through Acceptancenow and 120 day s purchased I thought my final payment would be April 6 now they're telling me no it was March 6 and want me to over $3590 and my purchased was 1200 this not fair. Resolution Sought Let my pay I think 200 balance

Ms. Sutherland-James entered into a written contract in the form of a rental-purchase agreement that contained all disclosures mandated by applicable state law. Rent-A-Center has reviewed this complaint and determined Ms. Sutherland-James' primary concern is regarding certain contractual obligations stated in the Agreement, which she failed to understand prior to entering into. Given the facts as stated, we consider this matter closed. Respectfully, Rent-A-Center, Inc.
