Ace Handyman services sent one craftsman and one apprentice to replace panels on Gazebo and patio and change part in dishwasher. The company charged us for 6.75 hours for apprentice and craftsman for which they completed the job in three hours. They charged us for time they were off property for lunch and picking up materials and completing quote assessment. The company stated we only get charged for hours of service while working. They incorrectly installed the new panels on Gazebo and there's a gap for which no shelter is provided. They have not corrected the problem, and they have a one year warranty on services provided. In addition, the owner has yet to contact us to resolve the unethical conduct of the craftsman and his apprentice, or to discuss any of the problems we've encountered. The gazebo has not been scheduled to be fixed and they were already paid for services. The company has not provided us with receipts either for materials purchased. The craftsman also left our job unfinished when he didn't haul the old materials for which we paid for this service and contacted us the next day at 5pm to state he couldn't come to pick it up until the next day. He reported that he was working on another project with another family. We stated that was unacceptable and he eventually came to pick up the materials which we already paid to have removed. The company also didn't post our review, which is misleading for consumers. How many other negative reviews haven't been posted? Resolution Sought My family would like the company to send another craftsman to fix the gazebo as it currently is not providing proper shelter as result of the job completed. My family would like the owner to address the unprofessional conduct of craftsman and provide his license number as well as the apprentice qualifications. We would like the treatment we received addressed and explained. We would like receipts for materials purchased. We would like a reinbursement for incorrect hours of service charged.
