The manager Brenda is very rude

The manager Brenda is very rude. She approached the register as I was checking out and started looking at the bags of the merchandise I was purchasing like i was stealing the stuff her employee bagged up. I was writing a check and she snatched the check and said it had to be verified by the bank. It's a Sunday afternoon. She was gone for over 10 minutes before returning saying that she couldn't take my check cause its Sunday. There is no sign that states no checks on Sunday. I feel very offended and belittled. None of the employees could tell me whom to file a complaint with. I would like my complaint filed on record and I intend to pursue this as long as it takes.
