The contractor did not complete the job. I was told by Peter no money down until the job was finished with my satisfaction. Peter is the one who got the job. He quoted me one price, then Patrick was introduced to me as a person more familiar with stone walkway's. He quoted me a larger price for the work. 1. $6000.00 for asphalt the driveway 2. $23,000 for walkway retaining walls around the front and side of the house 3. $15,000 to fix drainage around the sides and front of the garage. 4. $24500 to fix drainage around the front and sides of the house. After stating in the beginning no money until the job was completed. Patrick, the contractor, continued asking for money before the project was finalized. The reason I gave him the money ,he said, " he needed to get supplies to do the job. He had all kinds of stories. His supplier who gave him so much credit didn't have enough materials so he had to go with someone else." I gave him money because I wanted the job finished. Patrick, the contractor, continued to ask for more money until he got the entire amount. When he got the last money owed for the job I didn't see him anymore. I called him (708) 631-4779 he told me someone would be out to finish the job later. I wasn't pleased with what the guy did. I contacted the office and I was told that he would speak with Patrick and make sure everything would be done to my satisfaction. The twenty-ninth and the job isn't completely done. Resolution Sought I want Patrick to complete the job. I want the contractor to fill in the landscaping he destroyed working on the retaining wall and fixing drainage around the sides and front of the garage and house. I want the retaining wall continued around the side of the house as stated to me. To cleanup the area (windows due to dust from cutting stone) and to take all debris accumulated from the job away as promised. Every day I asked for my contract showing everything we agreed on. I got nothing

Customer Rebuttal

8/13/22 You removed one tree that hit my roof and fell to the ground. I got another company to repair and replace my gutters and downspouts. Dealing with this company, Acorn, has taught me a great lesson. Make sure you get everything in writing and never release the money until the job is completely finish.
