Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. If they are considering doing business with the company, consumers can use this indicator to forecast the likelihood of having their issues addressed if a problem arises. CRI measures the company's customer satisfaction abilities through BCA’s complaint mediation process.

A variety of factors are considered when calculating CRI. This includes how quickly a company responds to complaints, the number of complaints against a company, whether the company addressed complaint allegations, and the outcome of the complaints. CRI is just a subset of the overall rating for the company. Consumers are encouraged to take into consideration the company's CRI, their overall BCA letter rating and other relevant information about the company so they can make a well-informed purchasing decision.

I downloaded a free Photoshop app from the Google app store and only used the Free services offered on it. I woke up one morning with a charge of $72.99 on my debit card, which was saved in my Google Wallet. I eventually found out that I had supposedly agreed to some free 7 day trial that if wasn't cancelled would automatically turn into a yearly subscription. I NEVER agreed to ANY TRIAL PERIOD and I NEVER provided my debit card information. I immediately disputed the charge with my bank as I had no idea what it was for, and once I found out what the charge supposedly was for I immediately tried to cancel and dispute the charge with both Google and Adobe. Both companies denied my dispute and neither one provided me with any way to escalate the dispute so that I could talk to a real person. Adobe actually said to me that they never refund any subscription charges. Had I actually signed up for a free trial that would turn into a yearly subscription charge I could possibly understand and deal with that, but the problem is I NEVER AGREED TO ANY TRIAL AND I NEVER PROVIDED THEM MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION! They took it from my Google Wallet without my knowledge or permission. This type of scam is definitely something I would not have thought either Adobe or Google would have taken part in, I honestly believed they were legitimate companies that didn't steal money from people and not a fly by night company that scammed people. Resolution Sought I want the charge refunded and the "subscription" I never signed up for nor wanted to be cancelled, for THIS year, not in 2025. I also would like them to behave like the legitimate companies I had thought they were.
