I went to this facility in August of last year for a preventative mammogram checkup which was covered 100 by my insurance. This was my first mammogram ever. The technician was very aggressive and afterwards told me I would get my results. I received an alarming letter telling me they found something that required additional screening so I called them to schedule. I did not think I would get charged since it was preventative, not did they tell me. I scheduled the appointment and it came back fine. I then received a bill for over $600 which I disputed. Their "outsourced" billing department told me they would recode it and to disregard the bill. A YEAR later I got the $632 bill and the new billing manager Courtney me I had to pay it. I reminded her again that I didn't receive a bill for over a year because I was told it was taken care of and she told me I was responsible for it. I don't mind paying if I as a consumer was told, but they did not and their billing department told me repeatedly it was taken care of. This business needs to write off mistakes and treat their patients like actual people. Resolution Sought Refund or write off my balance for this "diagnostic" testing to they told me I needed without telling me the hidden costs and THEN telling me they would take care of it after their mistake only to make me pay over a year later.
