I was sold a 1998 Jeep Cherokee SUV and was told that it only needed an alternator and paid an extra $250.00 for a warranty that doesn't cover anything. After taking the vehicle to different shops I was told that I was sold a lemon and that is against the law! I was told that underneath the vehicle is rotten out and the transmission could fall out at anytime! Resolution Sought I would like a refund or trade in this vehicle for something that my life would not be in danger!

Company states; We are sorry to hear about the issue Ms. Goodman is having with the vehicle. However, as per the attached paperwork (upon request) she signed when she purchased it, any frame or undercarriage work is not covered by the warranty she bought. We have attached (upon request) a copy of that warranty as well. If she can drop off the vehicle at our repair center at 1128 Arrowhead Court, Crown Point IN 46307 we would be glad to look at it for her, however all sales are final. As I've personally told her, if we can find another vehicle for her, we will. However the market for used cars nationwide is up over 40% so finding a vehicle in that price range has been difficult but we are trying. We did let her know we had other vehicles at a higher price, but she said that was not an option therefore our options to help her via trade are limited. Sincerely,

I am not happy at all and wasn't told about rotten out under carriage of the SUV! I would prefer to have my money back! I haven't been able to drive the vehicle because I am afraid for my life!! I was told about the alternator, why didn't he tell me about the corrosion underneath the SUV where the transmission could fall out any day!

Again we are sorry to here about this issue. We had no knowledge of it when we sold the vehicle. We again are willing to inspect the vehicle to verify the issue and to determine if we can fix it. As of today, the vehicle has not been brought to our lot or to our repair shop at 1128 Arrowhead Court in Crown Point for us to inspect it.
