I am filing a complaint against Affordable Dentures in Hardeeville, SC. I began treatment in March 2025 and was quoted one amount, but both my insurance and I were charged far more than the good-faith estimate. I received my initial dentures in April. My concerns about leftover bone spurs were ignored, and the lower partial is unusable. I was told I would "have to deal" with metal sticking into my mouth. In August, my temporary denture broke while eating. The office resisted repairing it and refused to take impressions for the permanent dentures—despite the fact I already paid for them—unless I agreed to the repair. I should have received my permanent dentures in September. I have called repeatedly from September to November with no appointment, no updates, and no returned calls. I still have leftover bone fragments and a piece of root in my mouth. My gums have not healed correctly. My healing was never monitored, I was not given proper stitches after extractions, and I was never prescribed antibiotics or pain medication. A second-opinion dentist was shocked at the condition of my mouth. Resolution Sought Given the financial overcharges, the lack of proper medical care, the failure to provide the permanent dentures I paid for, and the refusal to properly repair the partials, I am requesting the following: • A full refund for the permanent dentures that were never provided. • A refund for the partials that were not repaired and remain unusable.
