Unqualified technicians and bad customer service.

On 9/19/23, Agero sent out a technician from First Call Rescue to jump my battery. The technician put the cables on the wrong terminals and damaged my battery and computer in my car. The technician left as I was calling to report the incident to roadside assistance (My battery literally caught on fire and the guy said he needed to youtube why). Agero roadside assistance sent out another technician. That technician confirmed and reported the the 1st technician had in fact damaged the battery and caused electrical damages to my car. I called and filed an official claim the same day. The customer service line stated I needed proof that damages were caused. Autozone did a diagnostic test on the battery even though the damages were visible and we sent the picture of the battery with the report AND the manager's contact information for verification. A claim was not filed nor was I able to reach a damage team member until after Progressive and the Texas Department of Insurance contacted them. The investigation of my claim started on September 25th. It is now October 4th and my claim has still not been processed to the liability team. They do not answer the phones and you can only leave messages or email. They take a full 24 to 48 hours just to respond to one question on your email. It took me a total of 3 days just to get an invoice reviewed from the dealership. At this point, the dealership is expressing frustration with this company. I can't believe they have been in business for 50 years and the way they do business does not match up with the promises and statements made on their website. I am concerned for others who do not have the means to deal with this type of fraudulent activity and negligence. I do not recommend this company to anyone. Please beware. For others who have experience such grief as I am currently experiencing with this company, please report them to the BBB so that others won't fall victim to the same circumstances.

This company does not care about its customers or it's business partners

They have the roadside contracts for State farm or maybe it's owned by state farm I'm not sure. For instance they have had so many customers waiting on highways for several hours and then they will call a company that's actually equipped to take the call for roadside assistance after hours of making them wait. The attorney general should be contacted by anyone that has had to wait several hours in dangerous weather or dangerous roadways. People get killed all the time and it's not a joke this company is putting its customers life's at risk.
