About 3 to 4 years ago I required a lawyer because I was working for an Optical business for 2 years and they were paying me well below minimum wage,no overtime and no lunch breaks. I found Mr. Lawrence Spasojevich online who said I definitely had a case ,that he would take my case and take my former employer to court as I worked for 2 years below minimum wage which is against the law. He did the calculations and determines that I was looking to receive a large sum of money. I'm a US Citizen so there's no reason why I should have been getting paid below minimum wage. This happened right when covid hit so things at the law firm were working slowly. Through the whole process I was more than patient. It took about a year before myself and Mr.Spasojevich spoke to Judge Magistrate Peggy Kuo who he stated was a " prickly judge" . I won my case and was awarded about $100,000 approx. This was about a year and a half to two years ago that my lawyer told me that I had won my case. He said the next step is just to collect. Mr.Spasojevich was not taking this case free he was to get paid a percentage after I won my case. I provided him with my former employers home address, the name of the bank that he used to run his optical business. I would call Lawrence periodically to see when I would be receiving my money. He told me to "put it in the back of my mind" . It's been over a year and I still haven't received a penny. Since I won my case he has been rude to me and is hard to contact. Resolution Sought I would like Mr. Lawrence Spasojevich to answer my calls and do his job as my lawyer and collect my money that I was awarded. In the beginning he always answered my calls and texts. Now he either ignores my calls or ignores my text and never returns my phone calls. He works for me he is my lawyer I'm paying him , he's very rude on the phone whenever I ask him about where my money is he says "can I call you back ?" which he never does. I want him to do his job that I am paying him for.
