Back in April this year, we have a water leak in our house located at 925 Worthington st,San Diego. After the leak was fix by the plumber we called. The plumber called a person from a water damage company and the person in charge called me to assess the damage. I think they are in cahoots and the person in charge starts telling me they can repair the damage free because we a insured by Ca fair plan. They started setting up equipt. to remove the water leak. I assume that the water damage company called air assure to check the house for toxic chemicals. I ask the main contractor that I don't have the money for the repair. I was told the insurance will pay for it.and the only money i have to pay is the deductible of $500.00. In short the water repair co. Called my insurance to put a claim on my behalf with me listening days later i found out the insurance denied my claim. I called the water damage repair co.and told him my insurance denied my claim.the repair co.did not charge me anything for their initial service. Air assure co. still calling me and asking for payment in doing the chemical test. I did not call air assure to do the job. I never place an insurance claim ever in my house, so I don't know what is the procedure. Thank you Resolution Sought Stop calling me for what they have done that I did not ask for.

Company states; We have received your complaint with the Business Consumer Alliance. I am writing to you to clear some misunderstandings. In April, Air Assure Inc. disclosed the importance and legalities that came with testing your property for Lead and Asbestos. In the state of California, it is the homeowners responsibility to be held liable for the health and safety of those performing any work within the property. Thus, these tests were a necessary precaution. Additionally, your home did test positive for these toxins. Furthermore, we communicated that because your claim had been denied we would discount these services rendered to provide some relief. I once again have attached our invoice, a SIGNED work authorization, and the Lead and Asbestos Report with testing results for your reference. Payment Methods Offered: 1. Over the phone via CC 2.
