This company awarded me a project and request me to provide insurance and gave me a deadline. I had a deadline in which I met. They said they will pay their deposit and they did not. The day of the deadline I was emailing and calling and was being ignored. The following day they messaged me on facebook to tell me they paid another painter. They left me with materials purchased, 3 other workers ready and a month of me not scheduling any work for that project to tell me she paid another painter. Resolution Sought I would like them to pay their invoice owed of 3175.00 that they promised to pay and did not.

Company Response

This sub-contractor agreed to provide insurance, proof of workers compensation exemption and start work within 1 week of signing a contract. The contract was signed on May 17. They eventually provided proof of worker's compensation on June 6 with an effective date of June 10. My customer was complaining about the delay is starting work so I had to hire an alternative painter. I don't know how they could have purchased materials as I do not have a record of advising them what the paint colours were. Dailys has subsequently sent my assistant and I abusive messages, and libeled my company all over the internet. Proof of the above can be provided.

Lady Painters was in close communication of the delay. Albany Homes gave me a deadline in which with hard work and effort I was able to provide my workers compensation on deadline. Day of deadline I was calling and no respond. Next day when it was the day to start was told through faceebook messanger that they paid another painter. They promised to pay my invoice and did not. I worked on this project a month. Albany Homes financially damaged Lady Painters. They left Ladies ready to work. Materials purchased for Project. The worst is that I couldn't schedule for a month since the project would take a month and now have a whole month open. All backup is in writing. They failed to uphold honesty and integrity.
