I went in for a transmission service. The agreement was for them to drop the fluid twice. What actually happened was they drained my fluid changed my filter and gasket. Not dropping the floor twice as agreed. Then kill ed my oil with transmission fluid 5 quarts full. Ran my engine for a long period of time. Check my oil thinking they were checking my transmission fluid after feelings my oil will transmission fluid. Realize it was extremely overfilled. Drained it out with a extraction pump, only to realize that they filled my oil with tranny fluid and ran my engine for a long time with it in it 5 quarts full on top of my oil already being full. I saw all of this happening not realizing at the time would have been done. Then proceeded with feeling my transmission to complete the transmission job and told me because I waited 6 hours instead of the two that I was told I will wait. They were giving me a free oil change for my waiting time. When in fact it was because my oil was filled with transmission fluid 5 quarts full mixed with a full amount of oil already. Also before feeling my transmission fluid they started my car with no fluid in a transmission pan when I seen them do this I yelled out stop there's no fluid in the pan! Special they told me it's okay because they're still fluid in the system and I told them no you never supposed to start a vehicle with no fluid in the tranny pan it will damage the transmission. They told me they had to because you feel it from the bottom. Resolution Sought Return my money for my transmission service and also pay me for the possible damage to my vehicle from the transmission fluid being ran 5 quarts full inside of my oil system of my engine there was white smoke coming out of my toe pipe when he started it and he said it was because the ignition key was on and it built up gas. I told him I've done that before and it doesn't make smoke come out of my car which never has happened. Also my car cut off on me once I made it back close to my house .

Albert's Garage is a prided automotive repair center where we have an array of vehicle service we provide for most vehicle including BMW JAGUAR MERCEDES AUDI and more. We do run across some challenge from time to time where the outcome is a success. Mr Gaines was a referral from PEP BOYS and had brought his vehicle in for service to have the transmission filter changed and fluid drained and filled. This typical service requires a new filter, gasket and 6-8 quarts of fluid, and use of scanner to verify temperature for correct level. Mr Gaines was to originally to drop off do to our busy schedule but couldnt find a ride and stayed the entire visit, which was a huge distraction with excessive interactions to me and my technician and crew throughout the after noon. Mr Gaines was explaining to my wife about his OCD on things in which took another direction after that. We did encounter a couple of instances that will be changed here next time, as having a transmission dipstick tool for this vehicle as it does not have one. Many of these MERCEDES are serviced thru the drain hole and other ways as they are all not the same. Transmission fluid was added to the engine oil by me in which we had performed a complete MOBIL1 oil change including oil filter on our dime. Transmission fluid does not harm the engine but is best for an engine flush/clean do to the chemicals it contains. Many shops use it for an engine flush and and then replace the engine oil. Way better than the additives they sell over the counter that kills engine seals. The transmission in the end had been drained and filled more than twice as i chased down a transmission dipstick tool 2 hours later. At that time Mr Gaines had said " I have a dipstick tool". After we completed the engine oil change, the transmission service was completed we test drove the vehicle for 4 miles and did not have any issue at all. As far as the white smoke coming from the exhaust was the fuel puddling in the cylinders due to the key being left on and then starting several minutes later. We did not have any issues with the test drive, engine ran great and transmission shifted smoothly. As far as the breakdown he had we were not informed of any such happenings other than what was mentioned in this complaint. I would suggest he call next time for a tow to verify any thing else wrong with the vehicle as i cannot do anything about it if Mr Gaines keeps driving on it. As far as i can see the vehicle service was performed with no issues while in our hands. If there is to be any claims to be made, i would recommend taking to the gilbert MERCEDES dealer and have it diagnosed and see what the come up with and if our services were completed satisfactorily. At this time no refunds will be given until then. Also, for future Mr Gaines needs to stay out of the kitchen while the chef is cooking and not freak out all day. Also, Mr Gaines is a big forums reader and a big youtuber when it comes to auto repairs. He should stick with a shop who does that or his friend he was on the phone with the whole time. We lost completion times on other major jobs we have here and jobs were not able to be completed because of Mr Gaines actions. In the end when Mr Gaines paid and signed original agreed amount he was very thankful and grateful we were able to get it done for him. Everything is recorded on video and audio if the BCA would like a copy.
