They are running a bait and switch operation, The commercials tell you $79 for their device and then shows you what the $149 one does, never even mentioning there's $149 one. Of course it doesn't work on my telephone but it takes over the 30-day return policy to find this out. Therefore I bought it I own it I threw it in the trash. What I want y'all to do is to look into false advertisement. I truly feel like I fell for a scam, a bate and switch scam. It's too late to do anything for me but I'm more than willing to help y'all anyway I can in following up on their false advertisement on TV and on Amazon. Amazon had a question and answer section that was sponsored, I assume by alivecor. Giving answers that my own personal experience tells me aren't true I realize I should have made this complaint before I threw it away. But I'm hoping at least by making this complaint you will save somebody else from having my bad experience with this unethical company. Resolution Sought Stop false advertisingI can't expect them to give me my money back because I'm the one who got pissed and threw it away when I realized I felt for a scam. But I would very much like to scam to stop, I want truth in advertising. It wouldn't hurt for y'all to connect Amazon and let them know that there is false advertisement going on in their app. That they're sponsored section gives misleading information. Like where the device is manufactured. They' tell me it's manufactured in the USA.

Thank you for reaching out to AliveCor. We are currently advertising our KardiaMobile single-lead device, but our company is not yet advertising our KardiaMobile 6L. These are two completely separate devices with different price points. We are not sure from reading this what this customer's issue was, and why they are stating that there is false advertising. We are sorry to hear that this customer is stating that our device is not functioning on their smartphone. We do make it clear that in order for our products to be able to function properly, they need to be used with a compatible smartphone. If this customer happens to have a smartphone that is not compatible and does not work with our products, we always offer a full refund. Once again, based on this customer's comment, we are unsure of what this customer believes is false advertising, but we would be more than happy to assist where we can. The false advertisement is due to the misleading way the product it presented on TV, they give you the price for the single lead and then tell you everything the six lead does. The commercial leaves you thinking that the 69.99 unit does everything the $149 unit does without ever mentioning $149 unit exist. Not to mention the commercial never talks about the fact you need to get a subscription in order to save your readings. The commercial is very deceptive and confusing and apparently seems to be designed that way. But considering they're just trying to run another con I'm sure they won't understand what I'm talking about. This is what a con man does when you call him on it, pretend to not know what you're talking about. Let's try this in a simple way they can't pretend not to understand. If a function is mentioned in the commercial, then the product that does that function and its price should also be mentioned. If you talk about the lowest price item and then you talk about everything the highest price item will do without mentioning the higher price I've left to believe I can get all the functions for the lower price of $69.99. this is how you coned my mother into buying it

Our KardiaMobile commercial mentions the recording of your EKGs and the analysis of those EKGs with the Kardia app. Both the KardiaMobile and KardiaMobile 6L have the ability to analyze an EKG recording for the same determinations: Atrial Fibrillation, Bradycardia, Tachycardia, etc. The main difference between these products is that the 6L gives you the ability to take a 6 - Lead EKG, which is more detailed because of the additional 5 leads and provides more information to your doctor for a better view of your heart. Other than being able to record a 6 - Lead EKG, the single-lead KardiaMobile's available features are identical to the single-lead KardiaMobile. There is also no extra fee in order to save recordings in the Kardia app. All EKGs taken are stored locally on your device free of charge. We do offer unlimited cloud storage for EKGs, but this is completely optional.
