I made an appt. for Dec13th to drop my truck off to get all the oil leaks fixed on my truck and was going out of town till Jan 2nd and would pick it up then. Somewhere around Dec. 27, I called to get an update and was told that it would be at least 2-4 more weeks to complete. on Jan 10th I received a text with a link to my inspection and it was followed by an email with the costs of over $14,k+ according to their recommendations even though I had stated on the 13th that all I could spend was the original 7k that they quoted. The shop went way further then i authorized and had financing that they gave as an option so I gave my info to see if I quailed. When I went in on the 11th to discuss all of my concerns and needed clarifications as to why the original items has gone up over $830 for the exact items and with the extra stuff it is no almost $15,00. i wrote the shop a long detailed summary of events and my concerns and wanted to have what was on my signed estimate don't with nothing extra added except a couple items and I have not received any confirmations from the shop after trying several times to get some verification. i also noticed that they charged the finance that I wanted to qualify for before they did the work. This is my only vehicle and the delays are costing me money and hardships on my projects because it is essential for work. and now I feel like I'm forced to pay the extra cost in order for them to complete the work. Resolution Sought I stated in my letter to them that I would like to stick with my original and only contract that was $7186 because that was all I could afford. The were a couple necessary items that I listed and okayed but they haven't responded to anything and when i tried to discuss the problem with the manager Mark, he was not able to answer questions of cost but would rather try and make it look like I just didn't understand him which was not true and he just couldn't explain answers to my questions
