I am disabled and after a promise not to increase my price. We went over at length my items to be shipped I estimated boxes, 20 of each size, so as not to come up short . He sent me a copy of that estimate. Which had the total cost and except he left off my deposit. When he resent the new estimate reflecting the deposit he had changed the inventory list, unbeknownst to myself, to a much smaller list. Thereby, when the guy calling to get a final piece count called he pointed out what was listed. I referred him to the original list and he said this was not the correct list. That there was an updated list and I said that I had not updated a list. He proceeded to say that that's the one that was signed, although I personally never signed an estimate. I signed for only my deposit and a bill of lading. The electronic signature only picks up scratches and not a true signature. So anyone could sign it. Ironically, after I spoke with the Quality Assurance guy, the original estimate which reflected the entire inventory somehow now coincides with their version of the inventory estimate. They altered the original estimate to cover their butts. No matter how you look at it this is wrong. Now, they want to charge me for each additional piece and any size box bigger than a small box. They originally quoted $2,137.61 with a $900.00 deposit. I would like my deposit back in full. They are trying to cheat me out of a lot of extra money I do not have. They are a bunch of crooks. Resolution Sought I would like for them to refund my deposit in full. I am disabled and live on a fixed income from disability. It's hRd enough without a company trying to steal from you.

We have already discussed this matter with you. Per Federal Regulations you had 3 days from the time of signing the Bill of Lading to cancel penalty free. You signed the document on 12/09 and contacted us on 12/15 requesting to cancel. This is when we told you due to the Department of Transportation cancelation policy your deposit is non-refundable. We did offer you to place your move on hold to utilize the deposit for another move and you declined. We apologize but we are required to follow the laws in order to operate as an authorized broker with the Department of transportation.

On 10/28 I put a deposit of $1825 for a moving company with a tentative move date of January 15. I asked the agent if I would get a refund if I change my mind and he said yes. On 11/1 I called and emailed them to cancel. I was told they will not return any of my refund because it was outside the 72 hour window to cancel (only by a few hours). The e-check was cashed by them and they are refusing to budge. Later I read similar reviews by other clients of theirs. This is a very deceitful company. Resolution Sought Return all or most of the $1825.00

Our cancelation policy clearly states you must cancel within 72 hours of placing your reservation. We have already spoken to you about this matter directly. You just refusing to accept the truth. You booked on 10/28 therefore you had to cancel by 10/31 for a deposit. As you have stated in your complaint you canceled 1 day outside of the window. We're sorry that you did not cancel within our policy to eligible for a refund. We just spoke to on 11/2 about this matter. "IF ELECTING TO CANCEL YOUR MOVE WITH ALL COAST MOVING GROUP, WRITTEN NOTIFICATION MUST BE SENT TO INFO@ALLCOASTMOVINGGROUP.COM Estimates may be cancelled and deposits are fully refundable if the customer cancels the estimate/order within 72 hours of placing their reservation (less the 10 merchant processing fee). After 72 hours of reservation the deposit is non-refundable. If placing your reservation within 14 business days of your first available pickup date, the deposit is non-refundable for scheduling and routing purposes. Non-refundable deposits may be utilized towards a future reservation within a 12-month period from the date of the original reservation."
