Well on July 5, 2024 All My Sons moved us from a storage unit in N.E. Portland Or to our new residence in Gresham Or. From the start was was problems. First they were late getting there. Suppose to have been there at 10:30 am but didn't arrive until 1:30 pm. They had a 10 x 10 unit to empty it took them quite awhile to do so. When they finally arrived at drop off location I had to wait approximately 15-20 mins for them to show up. The 1st thing they dropped was my window a/c unit on its face broke the cover and punctured a hole in it so all the freon leaked out when I tried to plug it in it wouldn't even turn on. How they dropped it I am not sure because one helper was handing it to another from the edge of the truck and they guy on the ground didn't catch it he just let it fall. I was speechless couldn't believe what I just saw. The next items they dropped were approximately 3-4 wood wall hangers the 1st one they broke both doors off because it landed face 1st onto the ground. The next one I'm not even sure how they did it because when it left the unit it was whole came out of truck the upper main arm brace they split in half I watched them kick my crates and totes which were full of glass wares they broke about 7-8 glasses, the stood on a box that was marked fine china and broke 3 plates, we had 3 sewing machines missing that never made it to the truck but I saw it leave the storage unit. 1 was a (new home approx yr 1979, 2 singer sewing machs w/attempts & carrying case Resolution Sought To pay for all of my damages their employees caused. Im not asking for anything I'm not or should not be untitled to. My evaluation coverage was $.60 per pound on each damages or missing item. So I figured everything they damages at 60 cents per pound. Total comes to $659.30 and all they are offering us $73.00 for my inconvenience. That's totally unacceptable.

I hired 2 movers on the 20th of May from this company & felt as if I was over charged for the entire process. They called me the day before & said they would arrive around 8am, around 9:45am I hadn't heard anything after calling and texting. A few minutes later I get a call saying they wouldn't arrive until 11am, they arrived around 11:25 and did not finish until 4:40pm. The distance from the original location was about 22minuets, 8miles, and I was charged $130 for gas. I only needed a sectional couch, king size mattress & bed frame moved into a one bedroom apartment, & most of the items were put inside of the elevator. I had already broken the love seat, couch, & bed frame fully apart and they did not have to break down or assemble the items together. They did not ask if I wanted anything wrapped then charged me for the plastic wrap, that took them 3hours to wrap three items. I was asked to pay $1,231.60, after paying a $100 deposit, before my items were unloaded from the truck. When asked about the break down of the cost I was given a very vague answer & one commented that he was "ready to go and would leave it on the ground" & constantly complained about the area I was moving to . After about the third hour, the movers were arguing outside of the apartment on the amount of time they were taking which caused one of the workers to call his boss &quit on the job. After he calmed down we talked &he let me know that he would at least bring my couch up,that took another 2 hours Resolution Sought When I first booked with All My Sons, the person on the phone gave me an estimente of two hours & around $400 for moving my three items.I would like a refund of at least $600, the hourly rate they gave me was $139 an hour for two movers, a truck & one hour of fuel. The job was only suppose to take two hours & it took 5-6 hours. I was over charged for gas and for the service, even though I did not ask for all the materials that were used, I understand that they were used and have to be paid for.
