RANT! I need to share a story. April 2020 I purchased a 2020 Kia Sorento from All-Star Kia in Denham Springs. July 31st, 2020 we were hit while sitting at a red-light in Walker. There was moderate front end damage with airbag deployment. The at fault driver did not have enough insurance to cover the damage to my car so we had to use our coverage. We have been customers State Farm for more than 20 years with little to no claim history. Originally we were told my car was totaled and to go clean it out, take of the plates and sign it over to salvage. We did just that. The car was picked up by the salvage yard and even put on an auction site. A couple of days later we got word State Farm changed their mind and they were going to repair the car. I knew that was going to be trouble. Not knowing any better I had the car sent to All Star Automotive Group Collision center at Airline and Sherwood. From the beginning I knew it wasn't going to go well. I spoke with the Collision center manager Phillip. His condescending attitude didn't set well with me but I had no options. Every time I voiced a concern about the car he would talk down to me like I was some dumb woman. All the time being told "it's not that bad." Finally, when it came time to pickup the car they just took my deductible and gave me my keys. No explanations, no going over the car. Nothing. I knew immediately when I got in it the car wasn't the same. I had been assured by Phillip Resolution Sought Buy this car back. It has multiple problems.
