My toilet kept running Friday night after a flush. It ran all night long. After contacting several plumbers on Saturday morning, I settled on All-Star Plumbing because they said that they come come within 1-2 hours. According to the online add, they advertise "affordable" prices and 100 satisfaction guaranteed. The plumber did state that because it was a weekend day (Saturday), he charged a flat $150 dispatcher fee to cover his worker(s). I agreed to this. The other plumber arrived at approximately 9:33 am and was finished before 10:00 am. Resolution Sought I would like the business to refund me in the amount of $250.00.

We were very up front with Mrs. Haigler. I told her the charge to get a plumber to her house would be $150.00. Even recommended she wait until Monday. She called back and told me to send a truck. I told her again that it would be a $150.00 Truck Charge. ( The reason for the $150.00 charge is that the employee is paid from time he leaves his residence until he returns to his residence. The employees time is double checked by both GPS on the truck and by the ipad he does the work from. ) We have been serving the Triad since 1986. We are above board on everything we do.

This is NOT acceptable to me. He seems to think that I have a problem with the $150.00 truck charge, which I do not. What I have a problem with is the $375 I was charged for one (1) water closet that took less than 30 minutes to install. The total amount I was charged was $525.00. Now, had he given me an estimate beforehand of the total cost (including the truck charge) and stated that it would cost $300.00 or more, I would have clearly told him, "No thank you." This seems to be price gouging to the fullest extent. At this point, his word and reputation mean absolutely nothing to me. According to his website: "Plumbing done right, on time and affordable - 100% guaranteed. I want a resolution that involves me being refunded the amount I stated originally.
