Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. I have a tax bill, Alleviate Tax Rep told me that he could reduce or possibly eliminate. So to pay the fee, I had to get financed (the disputed amount above )As time went on, he ended up telling me that he/Govt. could only set me up w/IRS payment plan, based in my assets (house. IRA). I COULD'VE SET MYSELF ON A PAYMENT PLAN MYSELF W/OUT GETTING IN DEBT. He has enough experience to know this information & situation in advance I'm sure. . Resolution Sought Not to have to pay them for being deceived.

The company solicited me staying they can help me resolve my dept. with the IRS and agree that I can pay them in installments and I agree a few months past and I made the payment put them I had an accident and could no longer pay the installments I can called the company who were harassing me by calling and asking me when will I make the payment. I advised them I could no longer afford there service and since they had not produce any paperwork that shows they did any work on my case I ask for my money back and they refuse stating that my taxes were done and they are waiting for my payment to release them to me. Resolution Sought I want a full refund of all the money send to this company who did no work for me and harassed when I was injured!

Company states; My name is Erin, and I am the Director of Operations of Alleviate Tax. Ms. Peguero didn't even pay us $450, so I will not comply with her desired settlement. She paid us $250 to do a Phase 1 investigation, which was completed. She then paid $100 to start Phase 2, which involves assigning her an attorney, CPA and case manager. These individuals worked on her case for over two months. We even prepared Ms. Peguero's tax returns. $100 does not cover our tax prep fee, nor does it cover the time and resources that were devoted to her case for over two months. No refund is available here, and because she didn't pay us enough to file taxes, we will not be sending the taxes to sign unless she would like to pay and resume services with us.
