I feel this man tried to scam us. I cannot find his number or address anywhere

A man came by my house and said my roof needs repairing before the rain or I would have rain all over my house. I just had a new roof put on the house a little over a year ago. He magically produced a piece of roof shingle and said the shingles are blowing off the roof. He said he can fix it for $350,00 today. He said my neighbors had their roof repaired by him. It's kinda funny because I spend numerous hours in my yard and never found any roof shingles on the ground. I live in a 55+ neighborhood/community. I did research and could not find any information on this company. I think it's a scam. His # is 848-248-2056, 1350 Evans Rd Perris CA 92570 name on business card Joe or Andrew.
