Had a leak in one of my windows after having custom shades put in. Had to get a new window. They charged me $185 to come and take shade down. New window is now installed so I called them to schedule the appointment. They hit me with an additional fee of $75. The $185 was for taking shade down and putting it back up. Now they refuse to come out to put shade up because I had an attitude about the second fee. Also told me that since I had shade taken down that I lost my warranty. Resolution Sought Have refund me the $185.

Company Response

The client had hired us on may to install few shades for her. The job was completed by early June 2023. Few months later the client has reached out requesting us to remove the shades as she needed to replace the window behind the shade. As this is not a warranty issue, we explained that there will be a service charge to come out. Client did not want to pay and had given us a terrible attitude, yelling and coursing. After I talked to her, she ended up agreeing to pay the initial service fee to come out but refuse to pay the balance fee and again yelled and screamed at our administrator. At that point, I've decided to deny service for abusing our employees verbally. She then charged her card back ( $185) and that is how the story ended. We did not receive any payment for our initial visit to remove the shade and at this point waived any further action against her as we do not want to do any work for her at any point. Thanks.
