Ambit has sold an account they say is mines without verification of the debt and sending me all documents . I'm a disabled senior citizen and they shouldn't be allowed to take advantage of anyone . Resolution Sought I need proof of this debt and verification I promise to pay them and I didn't approve of them selling anything with my personal information .

Ms Anderson began electric service with Ambit Energy on 05/29/24. The account was closed on 06/17/25 via a cancellation phone call from Ms. Anderson. A final bill was issued on 06/18/25 for $626.13 due by 07/07/25. Ambit Energy did not receive any payment for the final bill; therefore, on 07/11/25, a final bill refer to collections notice was issued to the address on file. Per Ms. Anderson's Terms of Service agreement dated 05/30/24, Ambit Energy reserves the right, in the event of nonpayment, to assess any reasonable and necessary fees or charges associated with the collection or attempted collection of delinquent balances. Ambit Energy may also utilize the services of debt collection agencies, consumer reporting agencies, or other lawful means to pursue recovery of any unpaid amounts on the account. Ambit Energy's investigation determined that there were no return mail indicators on the account. Ambit has accurately reported the account information to the credit bureaus in accordance with its contractual obligations. Ms. Anderson was issued a Terms of Service agreement which serves as Ambit's notice that we may report to the credit bureaus. Under the FCRA, the obligation to notify a customer can come at the beginning of a contract and not just after final bill. As of 12/01/25, the balance of $626.13 is still outstanding.
