In my opinion this company is a scam!

On July 6, 2021 my son was involved in a traffic accident with an American Alliance Casualty Company insured driver. The accident was the fault of their insured driver - who cut my son off. Our car has been inoperable since the incident. We just received on August 13th their proposed resolution to repair our car. They are claiming only 85% responsibility even though their driver was ticketed and is 100% at faut for this crash. They claim "With respect to liability, tickets do not equate to 100% negligence. Illinois is a comparative negligence state in that negligence can be assessed on both drivers. American Alliance is not disputing the fact that our policyholder is the majority negligent, we just don't believe he's 100% negligent Mr. Romero has assessed this case at 85% due to your son's failure to maintain a proper lookout as most of our policyholder's vehicle was past your son's vehicle when this collision took place." Nonsense. Consider also that their repair estimate is a low ball amount as well. Estimating repairs at a shop using $24/hour for labor - sorry but no qualified mechanic is working for $24/ hour. Our car has three flat tires (they only suggest repair of one). Our car has a cracked windshield - they don't list this. This company is a sham - with a BBB rating of 1.13 and countless other complaints. They should not be in business.

Bad business

Got hang up on by a adjuster for trying to explain my claim. She wasn't listening and just said she have another customer on the other line. This company will be reported EEOC.
