Per AACN I inaccurately launched the proctored exam and after multiple calls to help center I was told that I would have to pay $170 to retest. Thankfully made $100 after many questions to the help desk. Per the handbook you must pay for retests if you forfeit your exam time. I had accidentally launch the exam two week prior attempt to perform the system checks as i was told. System reports that I was absent for test and thus the reason why it can not be excused. Even though I was present and ready to take the test at the assigned time. Resolution Sought I would have liked the business to allow the exam to retest after I was honest and forthcoming about accidentally hitting the launch button. This is a nursing organization and I expected much more from an organization that promotes proctored exams. I was trying to be careful ensuring my computer met specifications and doing so mistakenly opened the secure browser that I should not have opened.
