American Car Center complaints

On 4/30/22 I purchased a 2017 KIA SOUL from RAC-American Car Center in Athens, Ga . On 5/2/22 the engine light came. I notified the salesperson, and inquired about their return policy as I didnt see that information in my contract. I was given reasons for the light being on, and advised to take it to pep boys, and they would take care of it because I just purchased it. I explained I'd prefer returning the vehicle. I dont want to start out having issues with e newly purchased vehicle. I was told there is no return policy, and I need to take it to pep boys. I reached out to the home office in TN about returning the vehicle. I was told to contact the location of purchase, because they cant pull up customers purchase information. At that point I went on their website and left a review. Shortly after someone from the home office called me, left a message restating what the salesperson said. Later after leaving work i had the engine code checked at O-Rileys auto parts store. The vehicle need a catalytic converter. On today, 5/3/22 I dropped the car off at pep boys. I was told the will be checked later today or tomorrow due to them already having 5 cars from the American Car Center. Ive received information from pep boys that the vehicle need a catalytic converter, 02 sensor and the dash board lights need attention... Consequently, I've had to spend $228.00 to rent a car after paying 1,150.00 down for a car that's way over priced and has issues. Resolution Sought I would like for this business RAC LLC dba American Car Center, and affiliates (the bank- American Financial) to receive their car back, return my down payment as well as the rental car amount totaling $1,378.00. Also to have anything pertaining to this vehicle cleared, and not left on mine or my sons credit.
