Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. If they are considering doing business with the company, consumers can use this indicator to forecast the likelihood of having their issues addressed if a problem arises. CRI measures the company's customer satisfaction abilities through BCA’s complaint mediation process.

A variety of factors are considered when calculating CRI. This includes how quickly a company responds to complaints, the number of complaints against a company, whether the company addressed complaint allegations, and the outcome of the complaints. CRI is just a subset of the overall rating for the company. American annuities contacted me with a non commitment $75 quote on what they would buy part or all of my remaining payments. To get the $75 I had to obtain and send to them a current awards letter in which I had to contact AIG to received . After sending the awards certificate, Robert(American rep.) Put together a couple of quotes . After which he said he was going to send the $75 to me in the mail. Two weeks go by and I had not received check so I text him back and ask about the no commitment quote bonus. Three or four days later, Robert sent me a text saying my amount did not fit criteria. Having my lifetime annuity payment has been very important to me as part of the settlement from Union Pacific railroad as a result of negligents in the train/ vehicle collision which took the life of my 30 year old wonderful wife on July 3, 2002. These annuity companies whom send out these reward payment for non commitment quotes or extra mile ney for commitments, to me, in seldom accountable in their advertising and and pushing their business. Please let me know the action(s) and results From this inquiry.
