I had a 20 year policy at Gerber life since 1986 the policy was up they said I would receive a check for a annuity. One check came #12890600 and the bank would not cash it. When I called American Life they say they don't know what' it's for. I just want some answers. Resolution Sought See why the check stopped. May 17, was the first and last check. The bank will not accept the check.

Billing person in office was not charging enough for car insurance for myself and my son. Insurance got canceled-home owners insurance went up $900. Not my fault, I was paying what I was billed for over 3 yrs, now they want me to pay back premiums. I feel this is not my fault. Agent did not pay attention to billing, that's why he hired someone. They did have some of the late charges reversed, but still say I owe for premiums. Would get emails about owing over $1500, asked agent why, and he said he would take care of it but never did....I have emails saved about this. Had to cancel my policies that I have held for over 40 yrs. Was a huge problem trying to get insurance elsewhere because insurance database said I hadn't held insurance for over 5 months. Finally got coverage after I explained my story. This has been nothing but trouble and stress for me. I had to be the one to discovered this mistake...when were they going to tell me? This was a huge hardship for me as I am a person on a budget and my homeowners insurance went up, so then my house payment did also. This has been a strain on me and my agent just wiped his hands and said sorry, nothing else he could do Resolution Sought I would like my agent/American Family to make this amount go away. And clear it from my credit
