For the last seven years or more we been paying this company to fix our dishwasher and dryer, every time they come you must pay a service charge. my appliances was to be fixed or replaced, every time they came they told us the problem was fixed. we had to call back several times for the past seven years. I have a family of five e for weeks now I have been with out a dryer or washer, every time they tell me it is fixed it's not. they finally dropped off my new dishwasher and told me that the company would not let them put it in because of the copper in it. this is the same washer they been trying to fix for seven years. that is now sitting in my garage , had the part to my dryer since the 8th of August now the our trying to tell me that they need 150.00 to clean my ducts that up til now was not a problem but now it is . Bottom line I could of bought a new dishwasher and dryer with all the money I paid to this company. Resolution Sought To replace my appliances and pay back the money that I shelled out for the last seven and put my appliances in an d stop putting me through this night mare. years to a company that did not honor it's contract

We have received a complaint from the member; however, there is no contract number, phone number, or address provided. As a result, AHS is unable to find a warranty plan for the member. I called them to report a refrigerator wasn't working so they sent their repair man to check on it. I turned off the frig and cleaned it then it started working again for a week! Once it stoped working I call again to have them return to repair it this time! They did nothing on the first trip because I got it working! The service man said he cleaned some contacts and it started working again for another week! But I call them to return because on the last visit the technician said he did a temp fix and will order the parts needed for a permanent fix but he never returned! I called again and they said failures causes by humans pets or insect is not covered! Are you kidding me? Florida is loaded with insect that like to hide in dark warm spaces like refrigerators! How could you charge me over $20 per month then a service call of $125 and not fix this? What a ripoff! Do. It trust theses scammers! They are run out of Africa not America as the name implies! I am a senior citizen and disabled Navy veteran and these people took advantage of me! Something needs to be don't to protect us from this behavior! Resolution Sought I want my refrigerator fixed or a total refund of all my money! Better yet both! For my troubles! 1 star is too kind!

Good morning: Thank you for making American Home Shield of Florida, Inc. ("AHS") aware of our member's issue through the Business Consumer Alliance. AHS places a high priority on customer satisfaction and are grateful for having this issue brought to our attention. I have reviewed AHS' records regarding this matter. The member requested refrigerator service on July 4, 2025, and AHS assigned an independent service contractor Atria Service Appliances, Inc. who reported on July 30, 2025, the compressor failed due to cockroach infestation and needed replacement. According to section 7.K, which states: Misuse or Accidental Acts Exclusion. Breakdowns that occur due to abuse, misuse, hacking, or vandalism, including, but not limited to, the removal of parts or missing parts from the Covered Item, and physical damage caused by people, pests, or pets, are not covered. Therefore, based upon the information received and the terms of the warranty plan, it was determined that AHS was not able to authorize any repairs. The member contacted AHS to contest the outcome of their service request. AHS provided a detailed explanation of its decision and, although its position remained unchanged, refunded the $125 service fee as a gesture of goodwill, despite not being obligated to do so. Additionally, at the member's request, AHS cancelled the warranty plan effective August 7, 2025. Thank you for your consideration, AHS hopes this information assists in resolving the matter.
