Failed Septic Drain Field. My Husband and I purchased a New Modular Home in 2020 from American Homes of Rockwell. We moved into our new home on October 15, 2020. We had problems with the septic tank from the beginning, American Homes can't find anyone whose responsible for it and are leaving us to take care of this. Rowan County Environmental has been out many times and have deemed the septic drain field to be a failed system. Resolution Sought I would like for them to pay to fix it.

. I want to assure you that although the system was having trouble, the problem has been rectified and the system is working as it should .The problem was that the cap soil had been removed so low that the water was able to surface. We brought in more dirt and put it back on the system and that fixed the problem. The system was not a failed system , we had the soil scientist verify that..
