Received a letter stating that they will turn us over to credit collections if amount is not paid. We did not order anything from this company. Don't even know if they it's a real company account number 033640793. Should we call them or just dismiss it? Resolution Sought Stop sending letters of delinquency.

I write on behalf of American Mint (“American Mint”) in response to Ms. Ebken’s complaint filed with Business Consumer Alliance (“BCA”). Ms. Ebken alleges that she received a letter stating that she would be referred to collections if her account was not paid. She further alleges that she never ordered any merchandise from American Mint. American Mint denies these allegations. Contrary to Ms. Ebken’s allegations, she voluntarily placed an order with American Mint for a Dawn’s Early Light commemorative coin. Pursuant to the terms of the public offer clearly printed on her order form, she was sent one (1) Dawn’s Early Light commemorative coin (introductory item) and one (1) Perilous Fight commemorative coin (authorized future issue) for free preview. Ms. Ebken never returned nor paid for the authorized future issue. Upon expiration of the free preview period, American Mint began to bill Ms. Ebken for the authorized future issue in compliance with the terms of the order form. To resolve this complaint, American Mint made a onetime exception and wrote off the remaining balance due for the authorized future issue. Ms. Ebken’s account balance was cleared.

I placed an order for a coin set in May. It finally arrived by mail the third week of July. I decided to return it, as the instructions state you can. The company also took $110.14 from my checking account. I called the company at 877-807-6468 to tell them I was returning the item and wanted a refund on my checking account. They refused, saying that I ordered it in May and it was too late to return it. How could I decide if I wanted it if I didn't get it until last week? Resolution Sought I want my $110.14 refunded to my bank acct and this company to treat consumers fairly. I believe this company is deceptive and fraudulent.

Company states; I am writing in reference to Ms. Shogren's above-mentioned consumer complaint filed against American Mint, LLC. I am writing to inform you that American Mint has resolved the complaint. American Mint acts in good faith with its customers. Although American Mint never received the 10 Greatest Presidents Set as a return, American Mint processed the 10 Greatest Presidents Set as a return loss. Ms. Shogren received a full credit card refund payment of $110.14 on August 24, 2021 for the 10 Greatest Presidents Set.
