I was working with an agent to get a fixed rate. An appraisal was recommended. The representative came out conducted business. 2 days later the agent appeared to have been okay with the results. The next day, she ask was he African American or Caucasian. I said he was African American, she then ask was he weird acting. I said he was professional . She them stated we need to order another because we don't need him to inflate the price. I hesitantly and naively (upset) went with getting another. Before I even got the 2nd request back, the agent called and we hash it out. She was attacking the conditions of my home, and questioning the renovations I had done recently. That didn't end well, as I terminated the call (I was at work) of my intentions were not to continue this loan. I found out the 2nd appraisal was even higher. I was attacked, discriminated and humiliated by this agent. When I ask about the first appraisal, her response was to just dispute it with my credit card agency. This company practices needs to be investigated. I want to be reimbursed. Resolution Sought I would like to be reimbursed.
