I've lost over a week's pay because my eyeglass prescription was wrong

I've lost over a week's pay because my eyeglass prescription was wrong, It resulted in a domino effect coming from three stores in three different cities, one of them an hour and a half one way up and back. Pay me for time out from work not to mention the time in gas that has stemmed from this to multiple stores.
