I have had so many issues over the last, I believe 4 years. The doorbell camera mainly. My records show that. When they came the time before last to fix the doorbell problem, the guy said alright just sign this saying I fixed it, which I did. They at the end of my two years was up, called to cancel their services, they tell me that I signed another 5 year contract. It had to be the paper I signed that day. I don't have the copy of that because they never gave it to me. Now the doorbell camera hasn't worked since July 29th. I finally called them on October 5th & went through all of their test, which did nothing. I told him I have been through this many times & they always have to come out & put a new doorbell, he tells me he can send someone, but I would have to pay for that. No, that isn't happening. I told him forget it, I just won't have a doorbell. I am buying my own doorbell camera and installing it. I also have the alarm in my house. I pay them $65.99 a month. I feel I was done very wrong by this company over & over. Resolution Sought I want out of this contract, that they tricked me to sign. I want a copy of the paper that I signed.

At AMP, we prioritize customer satisfaction by offering free tech support to address equipment issues. If customers choose not to use tech support, they can request a technician visit for a small trip fee to ensure proper equipment functioning and any necessary repairs. When customers report issues to AMP, our tech support promptly provides assistance. Technicians are dispatched upon request and successfully resolve any reported issues, as documented in our files. The last time AMP received reports of doorbell issues was in April 2022, and we promptly addressed them. It is essential for AMP to ensure that customers understand the terms and length of their contracts. To achieve this, AMP provides copies of any documents they sign, either through DocuSign or by giving them a carbon copy for their records. As part of the contractual relationship, AMP expects the customer to fully read and inform themselves about the documents they sign. To ensure customers have sufficient time to review, we provide them with a 3-day right of recession where the customer can raise any questions or concerns. AMP will have someone reach out to the customer with a copy of their contract addendum signed in August 2021.

This is not true. I had just talked to them October 5th about the doorbell again. That is when they said I could pay for someone to come out. I was not paying them for the piece of junk doorbell. I have replaced the doorbell to one that works myself. I also didn't get any copy of what I signed. Like I said the guy told me I was just signing that he fixed the doorbell. Then when I called to cancel my subscription with them, they tell me I signed this 5 year contract. I had already fulfilled my only contract I knew I was signing & wanted to cancel. They are so sneakie with their ways. I would definitely tell people do your research on this company. I definitely will also be waiting on a copy of what I signed. I also want everyone involved to know I will never sign nothing for this company & I do not want their service ever again, when I am done. Period! Do not trust this Company! AMP SMART.

Amp home security is a joke for a company. I have tried three times now to cancel my service, each time I have called there is no one in that department to take my call. I can talk to a representative to answer questions or try to solve and problems I may have but no one is ever available to help my finish canceling my account. When I even ask to talk to a manager they are not available either. I shouldn't have to wait for them to call me back in 1-3 business days and then never receive a phone call back. Resolution Sought I want my account canceled and credited back for the past three months they have taken out of my account.
