On June 10, 2022, I purchased from Anchor Homes Real Estate a property located at 80 Tavistock Dr, Anchor Homes Real Estate renovated the unit and acted as a sale and purchasing agent. In the ADD they specifically quoted: "New heat and central air". After the closure I applied for a rental CO, and it emerged that the water heater and air conditioning unit were not registered in the municipality. Their construction office informed me that the Seller CO was granted, however, they did not notice that the hot water heater and the central air installed 2 years earlier never got their respective permits. Obviously, the CO rent was denied. I was left behind for a full month of rental income of $1750 plus $572 in plumber and electrician expenses without counting my time chasing the HVAC person to pull the permits, contacting the HOA for work orders, visits to the Township and paperwork. I consider the Real Estate office responsible since they were involved in renovating the unit also acting as selling and buying agent. When I confronted Ms. Cecilia Friedrich, Registry/Owner Broker, Senior Real Estate Specialist, Property Management, she says she did everything right, however, until today I was unable to get an OPRA application and seller disclosure, I got instead a termite report and other documents that have nothing to do with my request. Everyone benefited with this transaction except me. She refuses to financially compensate me for my loss an Resolution Sought Being refunded by $2322,00 funds i lost on this deal
