I had the pleasure of meeting Kristal Mackie when I was helping another animal rescue several years ago. In the time that I have known Kristal, I have witnessed her helping hundreds of people per year in the community with their animals. Whether the help comes in the form of providing quality food to seniors who are in need of help feeding their pets, helping spay or neuter their pets, helping with veterinary bills, or humanely catching dogs who were lost, Kristal has gone above and beyond to help those in need. Animal Authority Rescue Team was founded by Kristal, an Honorably Discharged US Army Veteran, as a way to support the community in which she lives, and as a means to continue serving the public after retiring from serving her country in the Army. Animal Authority Rescue Team has won many awards for the community service that has been provided over the years at no cost to the community, and on a donation basis only.
