Anne Ellen Christmas tree farm refused to close so they don't have to refund us. I emailed them this afternoon when it was pouring out and they said they will be staying open and there's no refunds. It's 10 degrees in manalapan nj and they are staying open despite the dangerous temperatures just to keep everyone's money. I got a email, when it was pouring outside, saying there will be no refunds for tonight and they will be staying open. Today is the last day before Christmas that they were going to be open. Their offer was a gift card to come after Christmas which I told them I can not do because I will not be here. And who wants to go to a Christmas tree farm AFTER Christmas with their kid. This owner is unethical and needs to learn how to Treat customers. I'm tired of these businesses thinking they can write no refunds in an email and think that means they can do whatever they want, like make people bring their kids in serious temperatures or they lose their money. Or say their business open when it's pouring out just to have no one show up and they get to keep everyone's money. It's unethical practices. Resolution Sought Refund my $64.97 for tickets I am unable to use!

Friday night was the last night that we were open before Christmas. Some of our guests make it their yearly tradition to come to The Village so that their children can see and write their letters to Santa. We would have hated to be the reason that a child was unable to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas. In addition, we would also like to address the claims that we stayed open just for the money which is just hurtful and untrue. Friday night we had about 115 guests come through The Village, while we are so appreciative for those that made the trek to us in the freezing cold, our expenses for the night outweighed what we brought in. Staying open had absolutely nothing to do with money, and only to do with children getting the experience to see Santa. Friday night’s temperatures were not ideal and we understood that a lot of our guests would not want to be outside in the freezing temperature. Following the forecast, we gave the option to rebook tickets to another night this season and made every effort to accommodate. When a customer purchases tickets they agree to our terms and conditions which clearly state that there will be no refunds or rebookings, which must be agreed to in order to purchase tickets. We even went as far as to refund some customers who could not make it before the end of the season or allow them to use their tickets next season. While yes, we are a business, we also are a small business doing what we can with what we have. Also it was not raining, icy, snowy or any weather whatsoever besides cold.
