Approved towing was sent in place of another towing company that could not come. The driver rolled my dump truck back on to it's wheels. Dragging body along with it. Instead of body to truck. Chain together. Then rolling it on to wheels. Driver told me it would be $600.00 plus tax of $48.00. To haul it to my house approximately 8 miles. I paid the driver $650.00 cash. He said company would email a receipt. The next afternoon I called looking for my receipt. The man was not very helpful. He told me to give him my email address. I told him driver had it. But would be quicker if I would text it to him at his cell phone number. So, I did so at 4 pm. Some time during the night he emailed me a receipt with a different price of $599.99 with tax included. The receipt had the brake down of $555.00 plus the tax. So, I called the company the following morning. Same guy answered that I talked to the day before. I stated that the receipt was different than what I paid. And, said he would change receipt to match what I paid. So, I asked him why. He said he did not know I paid the tax already. I told him that was shady. When the first receipt shows his brake down. But, I was charged a different price. So, he altered the receipt. And, that shows that I was charged a second time tax. To add up to $648.00. But, I paid $650.00. I told him that was a lot of money. He said I would of only had to pay half that if it went to their yard. Resolution Sought Company needs to make it right. Or get out of the business of destroying people's vehicles. Cause their employees don't know how to handle them probably. And driver charges one price and owner says another. Not good business practices.
