April's Nail Bar reviews

I am reporting this business due to the fact that I believe they are practicing unethical business practices. I went into the nail bar to get a pedicure and this was my first time going to this particular nail salon. Upon entering I noticed there weren't any signs posted regarding methods of acceptable payment. I proceeded to continue with the service because I figured they took credit cards. Once my service was done , the technician stated that the card machine is broken and I can use the ATM that was conveniently placed by the front door. A few things came to mind: how long has the card machine been inoperable? Why wasn't signage posted for cash only? I could've went to the bank before being serviced. The other thing is: who has an ATM in their business if their credit card machine goes down? Did I mention there was a $1.00 service charge? The whole process screams card skimming to me. I wanted to report this business so that others wouldn't be shocked like I was when receiving services from April's Nail Bar in Algiers, LA. I will not return to this business.
